Script – PFlow Display Utility

This was rolled into the pFlowControl script

This script can adjust all of your particle flow display nodes in a scene without having to go to the particle view window and selecting every node and changing it.

This script allows you to:

  • Set Particle Flow display types for all or selected display nodes.
  • Set the Viewport Display color for all or selected Particle Flow display nodes in a scene.
  • Set the Viewport Quantity Multiplier for all or selected PF sources
  • Set the Particle System Limit for all or selected sources

Install in your maxRoot>scripts>startup folder

Bug:
Currently there is a bug with MXS access to the Geometry Display type, it does not update the colors and shapes correctly through this script (or any other dialog type script for that matter) they have to be changed manually when in geometry display type.
If your Display ops. are set to Geometry when using the script it will change them to asterisks, you then must go to particle view and change them back to Geometry in the operators parameters in order to get a correct update.
